Gregory A. Tate
Gregory A. Tate, Co-founder, is a former NCCU athlete. Greg played as a Line Backer on the NCCU Eagles Football team from 1981 – 1985. A 1985 graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Greg is currently a supervisor in the Presidential Protective Division of the United States Secret Service.
Greg’s passion for NCCU began long before his college career began. Greg’s brothers Benjamin and Ronald Tate also played for the NCCU Eagles as Tailbacks. And following in the footsteps of his older brothers, Benny and Ronnie NCCU All Stars, Greg was named “All CIAA Linebacker 2nd Team” in 1984 and 1985. Understanding the many rewards of being a member of an athletic team, Greg’s personal dream is to pass his passion for the Eagles Football Team and the NCCU athletic organization on to NCCU’s current football players.
